Boundary Surveys:

This is the core of our business and the segment that we dedicate the most time and effort too. Many Land Surveyors have left the traditional types of surveying to pursue the more lucrative engineering and design side
of the business. We still pride ourselves on the "art" of boundary resolution. With the evolution in technology and the reliance upon gadgetry that has invaded the way we perform our daily duties, we strive very hard to not lose site of the origins of our profession and the simple common sense solutions that should always guide us in performing our work.

Topographic Surveying:

Today's designer has many options for obtaining surface data and location of physical improvements. In keeping with our tradition of incorporating the most modern equipment to perform our duties in a timely manner, yet never forgetting that machines and electronics can only aid in collecting accurate data. We still haven't lost site of the fact that nothing beats an experienced field crew and a good set of eyes actually traversing and interpreting a work-site to provide the most accurate and efficient data.

Letter of Map Amendments (LOMAs)

With advances in floodplain elevation determination and mapping by FEMA and the ever increasing diligence of mortgage and flood hazard insurance providers, comes many new concerns pertaining to both property and improvements constructed upon tracts of real estate that lie near or partially within FEMA determined flood hazard areas. We can help! The Letter of Map Amendment is a form that we are trained and experienced in completing that in many cases can clarify and provide more accurate information regarding elevations of a specific tract of real estate as it relates to the determined and accepted flood elevation. We have helped hundreds of property owners achieve successful removal of their structures and/or property from the FEMA determined floodplain by collecting the necessary elevation data and completing the Letter of Map Amendment forms necessary to inform FEMA personnel of inaccuracies in the more generic mapping process. This not only eliminates the need for expensive flood hazard insurance, but also dramatically increases the property's marketability and ultimately aids in increasing property value. It's a win/win situation!
